SPR# SSMH4QXVSE - When repeating To Do's were marked as completed, the parent document was not marked as completed automatically - it had to be done manually by the user. This problem has been fixed in 5.0.7.
Technote Number: 1084579

Problem:
The workaround is to choose the ToDo item and manually mark it as Completed.

This issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering, and was addressed in
Notes 5.0.7 Client and Domino 5.0.7 Server.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 5.0.7 QMR fix list (available
at http://www.notes.net):

Calendaring & Scheduling
SPR# SSMH4QXVSE - When repeating To Do's were marked as completed, the parent
document was not marked as completed automatically - it had to be done manually
by the user. This problem has been fixed in 5.0.7.

This issue does not occur in the Calendaring & Scheduling feature of Notes 6
Client and Domino 6 Server.

Supporting Information:

Steps To Reproduce Problem:
1. Create a new ToDo document that spans over five days (for example, Monday -
Friday).
2. Each day, on that day, open the ToDo item in the Calendar and mark it as
Completed. When prompted, select 'Just for this Instance'.
3. Check the ToDo list in that view and note that it does change to the green
arrow to reflect the completion, as it does on the Calendar on that day.
4. Note that on the final day, when all aspects of the To Do item are marked as
Complete in the ToDo list (every day on the calendar is marked with the green
completion arrow, also) the item is still marked as Current in the status. One
would expect it to change to Complete since all aspects of the task are
complete.
